Intention has the ability to change the world. It’s available to everyone. Including you...

Tea Routine: Live with intent
Most people are living on autopilot.
Wake up.
Scroll.
Work.
Repeat.
We rush through the day, ticking boxes, barely aware we’re even doing it.
It’s not that we don’t care. It’s that we’re moving too fast to notice.
But something shifts when you do one thing. Just one. With full intent.
Cook a meal with both hands and no distractions.
Take a shower and actually feel the warmth on your skin.
Brush your teeth and notice each movement.
Make a cup of tea, and really watch the steam curl into the air.
These small acts, done with attention, carry power.
They remind you that you are here. That this moment is yours.
And often, when we start paying attention to the small things, the big things start taking care of themselves.
So today, try doing one ordinary thing with extraordinary care.
Start there.
What would your day look like if you brought more intention to it?
Let me know. I’m curious.

Dr. James R. Doty, a neurosurgeon at Stanford, explains how setting intentions can rewire the brain's neural pathways, enhancing focus and goal attainment. He emphasises that intentions rooted in compassion and altruism activate the parasympathetic nervous system, fostering a calm state conducive to achieving goals.

Journal Prompts
What are three worries or looping thoughts I could "offload" today to create more space for intention?
If today had a theme song, what would it be? What energy do I want to carry through my day?
If I could only do one thing intentionally today, what would it be? How will I know I succeeded?
At the end of today, how do I want to feel about the way I lived this day?
What new rituals could I create to bring more sacredness and awareness into my daily routines (e.g., drinking tea, walking, working)?
