Thrive in 3: Sip, Then Sprint #58
A cup of tea, a single task, full attention...
01: Sip, then sprint…
Some days, I convince myself I’m being productive.
Clearing emails. Ticking things off. Responding quickly.
But if I’m honest, I’m avoiding the work that matters most.
There are projects I care about.
They’ve been sitting in the background for months.
Quiet, important, and easy to ignore.
Not because they’re unclear.
But because everything else screams louder.
So this week, I’m trying something different.
One focused sprint. Three hours. One task.
No inbox. No admin. Just progress.
Not to be more efficient.
But to give those projects the attention they deserve.
The urgent stuff can wait.
It always finds a way back.
But the important work?
It won’t chase me. I have to choose it.
Are you making space for the work that matters to you?
p.s. today I’m enjoying the new Sea Within herbal infusion to keep me feeling calm and grounded.
